Voluntary support reports
Use Send report to send a support report. You can view or save it first. It contains app/macOS versions, device names, support codes and diagnostic results; an optional comment and reply email are included only if you provide them. No audio, typing history, license keys or Bluetooth addresses are collected by the report. Reports are sent over HTTPS to Lucid and delivered to delivery@lucidcore.app through Resend. Sending does not require a paid license.
One-time startup diagnostics
Starting with Lucid 1.0.7, the first press of the Enable switch in a local installation starts one diagnostic window of up to 120 seconds, including the first observed start after updating from an earlier version. Lucid makes at most one automatic HTTPS submission: when audio transmission is confirmed, a final failure or cancellation is recorded, or the window ends. It includes app and macOS versions/builds, names of discovered audio devices and selected headphones, connection stages, results, support codes and timing. Device names may be user-chosen and are not guaranteed model identifiers. The report uses a random submission ID; it does not include a license identifier, Bluetooth address, pairing key, audio content, listening history or the Mac name. There is no ongoing automatic reporting, later retry or upload queue; unavailable networking or a closed app may mean no report is received. Restarting or updating Lucid does not reset the local one-time marker. Manually deleting all local application data can remove that marker.
Startup report storage
Startup reports are stored separately from support email, encrypted in the working database with restricted operator access. Detailed reports expire after 30 days, limited submission and result metadata after 90 days, and daily aggregates without device names or submission IDs after 365 days. Detailed startup records are excluded from operational database backups. Automatic startup reports are not emailed. Recent diagnostic context is also kept locally for reports you choose to view, save or send; it does not trigger further automatic submissions.
Report retention
Delivery copies are encrypted in the working database and removed after the email provider accepts the message. Undelivered copies expire after 30 days. Submission IDs and limited delivery/code metadata are kept for up to 90 days to prevent duplicates and count support issues. Earlier copies may remain in encrypted operational backups. Support email is retained to handle your request; contact delivery@lucidcore.app about deletion. Your saved local copy remains on your Mac until you remove it.
In Lucid
Audio and supported input are processed locally. License activation and trial checks contact the Lucid service and use technical data to bind access to your Mac. Lucid does not upload your audio or typing history.
